To the average person, Aono Daichi is nobody but a pretty face with a mediocre-at-best

personality. He doesn’t seem to be particularly good at anything notable, and has a relatively

clean legal record. He doesn’t appear to be employed, but still somehow manages to support the

family members he does have. 

To anyone with a moderate knowledge of Japanese Nightlife, however, the name “Daichi” is most certainly one to remember; a famed hashiriya with a record of having never been beaten, one whose illegally-modified vehicles are maintained by himself and himself only. Gamblers from far and wide find themselves gaining mass amounts of money by advocating for his successes, and many lose when they bet on his losses. 

Despite such an infamous track record, the street racer has never been arrested, and has evaded every attempt at arrest by either outrunning police with his skills behind the wheel or denying any accusations of racing with strategically-placed tinted windows, missing license plates, shades, other means of obscuring his identity, so on and so forth.
